Ft Hauchuca, Sierra Vista AZ

I am currently in Ft Hauchuca, AZ for a few months riding horses and working with my son, Josh, who is stationed here.  We have been out riding along the San Pedro river, (which is really a sandy creek).  Nothing but mesquite trees as far as the eye can see.  Weather is nice, but riding is rocky.  The rattlesnakes will be coming out soon and everyone I have spoken with here have stories of their horses being bitten mostly on the noses and having neurological damage.    Dave is currently in Haiti doing his Army thing.  Seth is still at the house and stable and hopefully riding his horse with his girlfriend.  We should all be back to Oklahoma in a few months and will start riding again locally......Christine White
