D3 Area information

"Delta 3" area is the area that has the water running over the road and runs beside the wet creek on both sides.  We have found some good trails back beside the creek and up the rocky incline. I have attached pictures for viewing.  There are more trails that we would like to investigate on horseback next week if possible.
This is a really pretty area, that should look even nicer with a dusting of snow.
Let me know if anyone else gets out in this area and what they find.

The pictures of my son and dogs are from the top and bottom of the rocky trail.  We walked along the creek trail to the south and up the rocky trail.  The medicine bluffs are on the east. The creek is on the west side. It is really really pretty at the top. You look out over the trees and creek to the west.  There are alot of small cactus at the top so you may want to stick to the trail. And the rocks drop off steeply to the creek below, there is no place to enter the water from this side with the horses.  But the trail seems to wander around the south side of D3.  We didn't go any further on foot and figured we could find out way to the main road and wind around south/ and west to get around to the other water over the road crossing and could ride the horses through where the tracks cross the creek.  Seth said his friend walked it and it's about 3 ft deep and is sandy bottomed.
The possum was just off the trail and not particularly happy to have her picture taken.  But she wasn't bothered by the dogs and just ambled on up the side of the rocks away from us.

Let me know if anyone else has a chance to get out in this area.
There are some other dirt trails leading back into the trees.  Ingrid and I have ridden out in that area and it's really enjoyable.
